About meditation & breathwork

Meditation and breathwork classes give you tools to settle the mind and regulate the nervous system. Sessions might guide you through focused attention, body scans, or breathing techniques that shift you out of fight-or-flight — practical skills for stress, sleep and focus, taught in a calm studio setting.

There's no fitness requirement and no experience needed. Wear comfortable clothing, arrive a few minutes early to settle, and come as you are. Studios provide cushions, mats or chairs; let the teacher know if you need extra support to sit comfortably.

Meditation & breathwork — FAQs

Do I need experience to join a meditation class?
No. Guided classes are designed for beginners — the teacher leads you through the whole session, so you don't need to know how to meditate already.
What's the difference between meditation and breathwork?
Meditation trains attention and awareness; breathwork uses structured breathing patterns to shift your physical and emotional state. Many classes blend the two — studio pages describe each session's focus.
Is meditation a workout?
Not in the physical sense — these are restorative, nervous-system-focused sessions. They pair well with more intense training as recovery.
