Cian Hendricken
Former Dublin senior hurler. Cian spent a decade inside Ireland's elite athletic system — the gym floors, yoga rooms, recovery clinics and S&C studios that keep county-level athletes patched together.
Every studio he trained at had the same complaint: paying for slow software AND a slice of every booking, with nobody actually on their side. FitFinder is the platform he wished existed at 6am sessions.

James handles studio partnerships — the conversations with Irish gym and studio owners about what they actually need, the onboarding when they join, and the follow-ups that keep them looked after once they're live.
If you've reached out as a studio, James is almost certainly the one who emailed back. Every studio relationship on FitFinder runs through him.
Why we exist
The big international platforms treat studios like inventory. Members book through them, the platform owns the relationship, and the studio takes home a fraction of what they earn from their own door.
We didn't want that for Irish fitness — so we built the alternative. Studios-first, Stripe-direct, no middleman owning your members.
How we built it
Studios-first. Before we worried about chasing members, we sat with studio owners across Dublin, Cork, Galway and Limerick and asked one question: “What would actually be useful to you?” Their answers became the roadmap.

Studios are the heart of it — but FitFinder only works because of the people who walk through their doors. The 6am regulars, the Saturday padel crew, the first-timers who turn into familiar faces. Our job is the easy part: help you find a place near you, run by people who care, and take the faff out of booking so the only thing left to do is turn up. Fitness is better with people around you — that's the whole idea.
